Music therapy in the integration of psychedelic experiences? w/Music Therapist Løv Maya

How does some musical experiences gather us on different levels, while others expand us in different ways? There is a lot of knowledge about how to use music during the psychedelic experience, but how might certain musical experiences be used after the trip, in the psychedelic integration phase?

During this presentation, you will learn about the potential for implementing music therapy in psychedelic integration, which was the research topic of Løv’s master thesis in music therapy. This has, to her knowledge, not been researched systematically before. For her thesis, she interviewed psychedelic therapists and music therapists, and consulted the existing literature, as well as the shamanic/indigenous traditions where the ingestion of psychedelic medicine combined with music is already an integrated part of their societies.
