NPV Bergen will have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Gallimore for an interesting lunch time talk. The lecture is titled ‘Molecular (and Post-molecular) Technologies for Communication with Alien Intelligences’.
Dr. Andrew R. Gallimore is a chemical pharmacologist and computational neurobiologist and writer interested in the relationship between psychedelic drugs, the brain, consciousness and the structure of reality. He has authored «Alien Information Theory: Psychedelic Drug Technologies and the Cosmic Game» and his most recent book came out in October 2022 entitled «Reality Switch Technologies: Psychedelics as Tools for the Discovery and Exploration of New Worlds».
His new book talks about how psychedelic molecules interface with the human brain, alter the structure and dynamics of the experienced world, and rapidly and efficiently switch the brain’s reality channel, opening up a vast number of alternate worlds for discovery and exploration. Ultimately, using both molecular and post-molecular technologies, humans will be able to enter countless different worlds at will, to establish communication with the beings resident therein, and to engineer reality itself. He recently collaborated with DMT pioneer Dr. Rick Strassman, author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, to develop a pharmacokinetic model of DMT as the basis of a target-controlled intravenous infusion protocol for extended journeys in DMT space. His current interests focus on DMT as a tool for gating access to extradimensional realities and how this can be understood in terms of the neuroscience of information. He is currently based at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.
PS: This lecture will be recorded and therefore if you are not comfortable being recorded simply turn off your camera.
