Om arrangementet

We're honoured to host Dr. Luis Eduardo Luna, Director of Wasiwaska (Brazil) and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, for a rare lecture in Oslo.

Luna has spent decades studying indigenous cosmologies, ayahuasca shamanism, and the visionary art tradition of the Amazon (perhaps best known through his work on Pablo Amaringo's paintings). In this talk he'll explore indigenous animism and the use of psychedelic plants, tracing threads between Amazonian practice and their re-emergence in the global north.
